We would definitely recommend Lydia to anyone looking for a great photographer. Lydia is a great laugh and really added to the atmosphere of our wedding. She made all the photographs fun, making us laugh from start to finish and kept us at ease.

She also kept us on track throughout the day and shot all the photos that we asked for as well as working hard to snap all the details at our venue and made the most of the beautiful grounds.

Lydia, You are responsible for a very big headache today!

Dave and I followed your advice and settled down with a bottle of wine for the DVD, well after watching it ten times and what now feels like 10 bottles of wine...we didn't go to bed until 2am - ON A MONDAY!!!

Wow - you are an incredibly talented photographer, those photos are more than we could ever have imagined they would be and literally have me in tears...:) I just love them!!! And the DVD and music, jeeeeeze, just gorgeous! What is the name of that song you play when I walk down the aisle, I LOVE it!!!

Honestly each picture is just perfect and we're really going to struggle to narrow it down so we can print them and make a book!!! It captures the day amazingly!!!

Lydia, we can never thank you enough. Thank you for all the work you did before the wedding (some really useful advice during our Skype conversations and how you really thought about the style I was aiming for) and of course, on the day. You were so friendly and got everyone organised brilliantly, and laughing too! Most of all, just thank you for our beautiful photos. We love, love looking through them as you captured our day so beautifully. Even as I'm writing this, I'm thinking of more things you did: you found the perfect spot in the woods for photos and took us off for some 'golden time' photos in a field of dandelions, as well as getting so many brilliant photos of guests laughing and various antics at our wedding breakfast in the courtyard. We were blessed to have Lydia as our photographer for our wedding in August! She just seemed to hover in the shadows and still managed to capture some brilliant and natural photos. I stumbled across Lydia by chance whilst reading a blog post on french wedding style. I loved the way that her photos seemed to tell a story and capture the day in a natural way - which was exactly what we were looking for.

On the day Lydia was AMAZING!! a real professional whilst being friendly and approachable. She put all of us at ease and managed to capture the love and laughter of our day perfectly. Both myself and photophobic husband had soo much fun during our photos!!We had doubts about whether to have a professional photographer for our intimate family wedding - but I can honestly say that I am so happy we did and that we picked Lydia for the job.If you are looking for a wedding photographer Lydia is your lady!!

 

You were absolutely great on the wedding day. I can't really describe what you did for me, but you were the first person we'd "hired" who made me feel like the day was going to go well. The looks we shared when the celebrant walked in a little ceremoniously meant I knew immediately you were on my side and I look now at the beautiful pictures you took and am sometimes in shock at how much I was smiling - I love a pout believe me, but all I could do was smile. I was marrying the love of my life I suppose but whatever you did to me, it worked and I will forever be grateful.  Thank you again and again for your presence on the day, you were tough when you needed be and one of us throughout! I still swipe dreamily through your beautiful pictures and they bring a smile to my face every time, I get to relive all the wonderful memories we made that day and you are very much a part of those!

Lydia we received them yesterday. OMG they are amazing we haven't stopped looking at them and we sat crying watching them. We are so happy and pleased they are fantastic. I am trying to get them printed so we can have a look properly at them.

Dear Lydia

 

I will never forget the day, shortly after our daughter Holly’s marriage to Sam in Windermere in July 2013, when I sat down with my Mum and watched the DVD of photographs so brilliantly taken by you and perfectly put to music.  The way you captured the day left both myself and my Mum speechless.  We just shook our heads in awe!  Not only is your outstanding photographic ability clear in every single shot taken, but your planning prior to the big day and attention to detail was remarkable.  Which was fortunate, since the rest of us were overtaken by the emotion of the occasion and incapable of anything except for sipping champagne and grinning from ear to ear!

 

Thank you so much – the wedding day wouldn’t have been complete without the memories so expertly captured by your camera.
